Where can I park?

Parking is available right outside our studio as well as down Bowen Ave. There is also ample parking across the road at the local shopping centre.

Do you have internal bathrooms?

Yes, our students have easy access to toilets.

Is your studio wheelchair accessible?

Our studio is located on a second level floor via stairs. For this reason, unfortunately we can't accommodate wheelchairs.

Do I need to sign my child in/out of class?

The teacher will mark off your child’s name when you arrive. For term programs, the teacher will take a roll in class. At the end of each lesson, all students must be collected by an adult promptly from the studio. During our classes, we do not allow parents/caregivers to wait in the studio. While your child is enjoying their classes, there is a nice café just next to our studio as well as a shopping centre across the street.

What happens if I miss a class?

You are able to attend a make-up class at a different time throughout your enrolled term. This make-up class must be scheduled in advance and completed within the time frame of your enrolled term. All make-up classes are subject to availability and cannot be carried over from term to term. You can book a make-up class by getting in contact with our team via Facebook or by calling us on 0493279606.

Cancellations / Refunds

I am now unable to attend my booked workshop or program, am I able to receive a refund?

If notice of a cancellation is given more than 7 days before the workshop or program starts than a full refund will be given. For term enrolments, we can not offer a refund once the term has commenced, this is due to fixed materials and placement costs. A refund will only be given for remaining classes if the seat is able to be filled.

Can I enrol my child in a different year level group?

No, our content is designed for specific age groups. We will not accept your booking, and you will be issued a refund. No refund will be given once Term commences. If you do not know which age group best suits your child, please contact our studio before booking. Please note: we do not accept Preps.

Do you run birthday parties?

Yes we do! Please contact us at studio@myartspacestudio.com.au for birthday party information.

My child wants me to wait in the studio with them, can I do this?

During our classes, we do not allow parents/caregivers to wait in the studio. While your child is enjoying their class or workshop, there is a nice café just next to our studio as well as a shopping centre across the street.

How can I enrol for a program or workshop?

You can either register online, or bookings can also be made over the phone or at the studio during our opening hours.

Can I enrol after term has started?

Enrolments can still be made after the term has started subject to availability. There be will be an adjusted fee reflective of the lessons left in the term, and you will be provided with a start date so that your child can begin a new art project the same time as the other students in the class.

How do I know if a class still has places available?

Our online booking system will show "Booked Out" if a course is full, and will also show when classes are getting full.

How do I change my enrolment if I enrolled into the wrong program or workshop?

No worries! Get in touch with us and we can easily correct it for you.

The class I want is booked out, can I be placed on a waiting list for next term?

Yes, we do accept waiting list names. Simply send us a message and we will add you to a waiting list for your preferred program or workshop.

The entire age group I am looking for is full, will you be adding extra classes?

Based on demand we may add extra classes to future terms. For the time being you can add your name to a waiting list by contacting us.

Can both of my children attend the same term program?

Our term programs are tailored specifically to age groupings of 1/2, 3/4 & 5/6. As such, we can not have a year 2 student participate in a year 3/4 program for example. Workshops on the other hand are often tailored for a variety of ages, so siblings can certainly both attend these unless otherwise stated.

Will you take pictures of my child/children?

On occasion we may take photos and videos for use in marketing material, if you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please let us know while making your booking.

Can my child bring food to the studio?

In order to create a clean and safe space for all students we kindly ask that your child does not bring food into the studio unless otherwise stated on the workshop description.

Do you offer payment plans?

We currently do not offer payment plans or instalments at this time, however we are happy to consider options on a case by case basis. Please get in touch with our team to discuss this.

Behaviour

My Art Space Studio reserves the right to cancel the enrolment of any student, at any time, who displays behaviours (whether intentional or not) that disrupt the learning of other class members or affects the teacher's ability to effectively run their class or workshop. No refund will be given unless the seat is able to be filled by another child that Term.

My Art Space Studio requires that children who attend the art lessons or workshops have the ability to engage in the class or workshop without distracting other class members and without needing the sole attention of the teacher. We need to ensure all children can have support during the workshop or lessons.

For students who need one-on-one attention at all times, we provide private lessons at an additional cost. Additionally, we have a zero tolerance policy for any threatening, intimidating or violent behaviour.
